canceling subscribers to my blog

mshielddesign 12 years ago 0

Awhile ago, I added a blogtrottr signup form on my blog. A few people have signed up for emails whenever I update the blog.

Recently I switched to a different service and re-signed up the people who had previosuly signed up with the blogtrottr form. Now they get two emails everytime I update my blog (one from my new service and one from blogtrottr).

How can I end the blogtrottr email blasts? I know I can tell them to unsubscribe, but that seems a little sloppy and there is the risk that they will unsubscribe from the wrong service.

Thanks for any help.

Listing the articles' titles on top of the email message, like Feedburner's email notification

Chao 14 years ago updated by B B 14 years ago 5
Feedburner makes a bullet list of the articles' titles on the top of each email message, enabling me to scan and click on the article that interest me.

This function will be useful for high volume feed fed to inbox.

Allow users to enable / disable subscriptions from the main 'My Subscriptions' page.

In much the same way that users can 'Delete' a subscription from the main page. In fact, it would be great to manipulate as many settings as possible from the main 'My Subscriptions' page. (Much time would be saved!)

Including post author

Tomasz Melcer 12 years ago updated by Blogtrottr 12 years ago 1

It seems that the Atom feed author field (the part enclosed in
) is missing in the emails sent by service. Would it be possible to add it? I have a feed with comments, and it would be valuable to know who actually posted which item.
