Settings changes gone when no password given

Account options -> changes (i.e. timezone, digest emails content) disappear when password is wrong or missing (unintuitive when password is not marked as obligatory).


Suggestion: make changes persistent among page refreshes, or print message about missing/invalid password without refreshing the underlying page, or clearly mark password as obligatory even when just changing preferences

The password shouldn't be required - can you clear your browser cache, retest and see how you get on?  If it continues, drop me a mail at info@blogtrottr.com and I'll have a look into it for you - perhaps it's something specific to your account.

Indeed, the fault was my own. My browser was automatically filling just one of the password fields - with the other one blank, the system obviously shouted a mismatch.
